Pictorial experimentation

Processing aspects of two different cultures (both European and Japanese) in the idea, in the characters and in the materials. I feel close to Japanese culture and I love it as the Italian one.
The setting is Japanese spa on winter night.   *washi=Japanese paper

For these two illustrations I took inspiration from my favourite Japanese model Ai Tominaga.
Acrylic on plaster paper and washi.
Oil on canvas and washi.
For these illustrations I took inspiration from my favourite French model Clement Barreda.

Editorial - popular artwork

editorial: title
editorial: article
I've drawn seven illustrations for an ideal editorial about an animal: the swan. Of these illustrations three are acrylic, three are poster color and one has been drawn by oil.

Concept for videogames characters

1) version

Old Man Coyote: a divinity of creation.

I took inspiration from mythological figures of Native Americans. For this exercise, 3 steps were necessary: 1) a classic videogame version; 2) a version of my taste; 3) a mix of previous versions.

2) version

3) version

White Buffalo Woman: a divinity of north-south-east-west directions. Versions 1, 2, 3.
